For anyone running the linux package of Kcomm with a KDE desktop as i do, on a 2nd linux laptop in the shack, here is some advice.

The solution run command : (your path ./kcomm -style=cleanlooks) GUI is up and running. Works well with the k3 ,put the fldigi path in settings manually, file browser can cause a crash. Tested on 32 & 64 bit machines ok. I am looking at compiling a source package for modern distros.
