I finally got it working, but I went through so many permutations that I'm not sure where I'm at right now. I'm letting it sit overnight and will check it again tomorrow. If it still works right, I'll writer down all the settings for my notebook. The idea is to have N1 MM do most of the canned messages-CQ, TU etc. But I will have to voice the exchange as it is RST plus serial number and I don't want to mess with number files to express a serial number. It's easier just to speak that one.
