Failing that how about an Elecraft designed, fully filtered, fully integrated, high stability, VLF up converter covering 5KHz to 500KHz. This would cater for the Natural Radio listeners, Alpha stations, numerous high power transmissions used by hams as propagation beacons, 136KHz band, NDB hunters and the new 472KHz allocation. Trevor G0KTN -------- Original Message -------- I see from the report of WRC-12 that a new band 472-479kHz is to be allocated on a world-wide basis with an eirp of 5W (1W in some countries). The K3 receiver currently goes down to 490kHz. Is there any likelihood that this could be extended down to cover the new band? http://www.rsgb.org/news/articlelinks.php?id=0284 73 de David G4DMP -- + - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - + | David M Pratt, Kippax, Leeds. | | Website: http://www.g4dmp.co.uk | + - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - + ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
