Peter, This subject is more appropriate on the reflector [email protected] I have similar setup (K3 and SPE Expert 1k-FA) but there is not enough data in you message to figure out what is happening. What kind of cable you are using? Does the amp follow radio from band to band in RX mode? Does error show up when you press PTT or is it happening when drive power is applied? May I suggest that you subscribe to the above mentioned reflector and describe all the details. I am sure you will get help there.
