If you intend to eventually build a k2/100 I would do the SSB option first. I would do the noise blanker last. I would do the KAT2 only if I intend to go portable or as a main QRP rig. Otherwise would use the KAT100 or other tuner.
You cant do both DSP and Audio Filter at the same time as they occupy the same slot. For mostly CW op the audio filter is good enough most say but others may beg to differ. This sequence allows you to do side and and Psk off the rip. You can then decide how to operate the K2 later Ariel NY4G Sent from my iPhone On Feb 20, 2012, at 1:34 AM, "Earl Richardet" <[email protected]> wrote: > > > I have the following options to build for my new K2 and I would be > interested to know if there is a preferred order of build. > > > > The options are: > > > > KNB2 Noise Blanker > > KSB2 SSB Adapter > > KAT2 Auto Antenna Tuner > > KDSP2 DSP and Audio Filter, Clock > > > > Thanks, > > > > Earl VE7QJ > > > > > > ______________________________________________________________ > Elecraft mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:[email protected] > > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
