Dick, Thanks for that added information. BTW, most hams do not realize that one must be very specific when saying you are using a Heil microphone. With all the microphone and adapter combinations possible, things get quite confusing. Everytime someone sends me a K2 for repair and tells me he is using a Heil microphone, it results in several email exchanges before I understand the microphone setup enough to test the SSB adapter as the owner would use it.
