Fred, The red adapter is the correct one, but depending on your Proset, it may or may not need bias. If it is the Proset-iC or the Proset-K2, it will need bias, but if it is any other, bias should not be applied (adding bias may saturate the microphone element and cause its output to be zero).
Please understand which microphone element you have and apply bias or not apply bias accordingly. A Heil microphone is not necessarily a Heil microphone, there are many models and you must be specific about wihic one you have if we are to offer good advice as opposed to "guesses". BTW - what are you referring to as the "Y" junction?
