As it turned out I missed the net due to a phone call from my cousin whom I have not talked with for some years.
I was planning to check in with my 270w amplifier driven by the K3/10. I used it on 80m on Saturday to check in a net up here in AK and got a report of S9+ vs S4 with 14w from the K3/10. I was most pleased to get a good modulation report which reassures me the amplifier is linear. Tuning around 20m about 1900utc band conditions were pretty bad as I was not hearing a lot of stations I expected from the contest. Apparently a solar flare.
