Nick-WA5BDU mentioned putting CW freqs in VFO A and SSB freqs in VFO B using Dick's K3 Frequency Memory Editor. I had done that, but didn't realize that a "*" at the head of the name allows me to "tune the band," channel hopping with The Big Knob. It just cycles through the channels. Unfortunately, it doesn't take VFO B with it ... maybe in a future update?
So, I did M>V twice for Channel 1 and sure enough, 5332.0 showed up in VFO A and 5330.5 in VFO B. Then, looking at the P3, there is VFO B with upper sideband shaded, and right in the middle of the USB passband is VFO A. I took this as a good sign and called CQ for awhile on CW. No answer, but I'll try again later today. I really like this radio! 73, Fred K6DGW - Northern California Contest Club - CU in the 2012 Cal QSO Party 6-7 Oct 2012 - www.cqp.org ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
