I saved successfully to a folder on a network drive, off my computer.

I saved it to my d: drive, now I have something ready to burn onto a DVD.
When I look at the "files ready to be written to the disc" folder, my image
file is there.

I think it's a file access problem of some sort. Can you try a few
different places in your file system?

I'm saving to a different folder on another local drive, but this used to
work just fine with the previous version.

After the image has been completely captured and is being displayed by the
utility, the File-Save As stays as an option for 10 or 15 seconds, and then
it becomes grayed out. When I click on it after the capture is complete but
before it becomes grayed out, I get the window with the directory in which
to save the file (which is the same directory I was using with the previous
version). I can click OK and that window closes, but no file is saved.

No, I wait for the transfer to complete.
