Alaska is easy copy for me as well as Phil, who is located further south of me in Oregon. My doublet, which runs N-S, is in an inverted V configuration which does help 'round out' its reception pattern. I am not sure why but QRP signals from Palmer are normally strong. Juneau was problematic this morning but we have had some unusual conditions the last week plus a time change. Kevin. KD5ONS
