Ed, The problem is that we can't do everything at once....we have to prioritize which firmware features to add when. FM will be added very shortly after first production shipments start, so you'll be able to use it on 10 and 6 meters. The MCU code to support FM and repeaters is already in place, since it was ported from the K3. The DSP, however, is a brand new one that has very low current drain. It's totally different from the K3's DSP, so we have to rewrite all of the low-level modulation/demodulation routines.
