Just an FYI: I have the HL-45B Tokyo Hi-Power amp that I use with my FT-817. It puts out a solid 50 watts and works surprisingly well mobile. It looks identical to the HL-100Bdx so I would assume it's the same product family. I think it's a quality product. (I am, however, saving for the KPA100. I wouldn't want my Elecraft collection to be incomplete :-) ).
