Bill, That is good information, but is it effective in deterring ticks that drop from trees and overhead bushes. Here in North Carolina, most of the ticks do drop from overhead locations - they sense carbon dioxide from our bodies and descend on us. I am particularly interested since most all our property is wooded, and moving through that "wild and wooly" 20 acre environment this time of year results in a "tick search" each day.
