Larry If you use ALC between your KPA500 and your transceiver, check to see if there is a permanent output from the KPA500. U8 on the KPA500 control board is a known issue where the wrong part was specified up to at least serial 573 (mine)...
The fix is to obtain the correct part and replace it.
