Ah yes the 50-60's. This is one of the marvels of the K series, it takes me back to the joy and the innovation of my early 60's radio experience. The KX3 is such a unique piece of equipment. The direct conversion and the quality is beyond anything I could have imagined back then. I intend on using mine particularly as my qrp station, but I have also used the K3 for the same as well as 1.5 Kw driver. I am not trying to slight my KX1 or K2. :-). Got to enjoy those too.

This is why we requested that the KX3, at nominally 10 W PEP, be categorized under "HF Transceivers," not "QRP Radios," at www.eham.net. The KX3 is a medium-power radio. 73, Wayne N6KR ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
