Hi Ed, I also am anxiously awaiting my KX3, and the news about the 2m module. However, I suspect the delay in shipping the kits is not related to the fact that some of us paid extra to have the units factory assembled....my guess is that Elecraft wants to make sure that there are no problems assembling the kits before they start shipping them out. And the best way to do this is for them to get some in-house experience to make sure everything goes together as planned. I am sure they will send out the orders when the feel comfortable filling them properly!
