Thanks Donald !!!! ;-) I was not sure...

Everything you need is already built into the KPA100. The KPA100 will key a positive voltage to ground and the AL-811H has a positive voltage on the RCA relay connection on the rear which must be grounded to place the AL-811H in the "transmit" condition. Simply connect a cable with RCA plugs on each end between the Relay connection on the AL-811H and the "PA Key Out" socket on the rear of the KPA100. Voila! Have fun! 73 -- Don N4HH K2/100 #2028,

Subject: [Elecraft] Ameritron AL-811H with K2 & KPA100

I bought an used linear amp Ameritron AL-811H for half of the price
of a new one. I just want to make sure I'm right. This is the first
linear amp like this one I have.

If I want to connect my KPA100 to an Ameriton AL-811H, what should I
do ?

It seems that Relay control conector behind the AL-811H is keyed when
grounded, and the K2/KPA100 is keyed when positive !?!?

Thanks for your help.
