Have decided to sell my recently built K2, I enjoyed the experience but I am ready for other aspects of the hobby. I built it while recovering from heart surgery in June and July and it was relaxing and good therapy.
K2 Serial Number 4993 KSB2 KNB2 KDSP2 K160RX KAT2 KBT2 KIO2 Yaesu Knob (plus the original) MH2 hand mic Elecraft RS-232 cable The radio is in as new condition and works great. Had a couple small issues during construction that turned out to be operator error. I built everything except the tuner and interface, I bought those already built in another top cover. The radio comes with all original documentation, the original top cover with speaker and misc spare parts. The mic is used, but looks new, however it does not appear to be wired as I set up the headers in the radio. When I built the K2, I jumpered the mic audio, PTT and pins 7&8 straight across with jumpers. The jumpers may need to be changed to accommodate the MH2 mic, not sure I really didn't look into it as I used my Ten Tec 705 mic on it and wired it accordingly. Price is $975 plus shipping and insurance. Not interested in trades at this time. Please email for more info if needed.
