Thanks for that Dick, I think the only real difference is the Desktop, the Lbuntu is the light version of Ubuntu which as it doesn't have the glossy graphics heavy Desktop. I haven't tried it on the Desktop PC as it means lugging the radio downstairs to the main computer, that's the reason why I use the Netbook.
