Sure it is. Just use the BALance control to pan the audio from MAIN to SUB vfo. Some 'E' brand and 'Y' brand radios allow one to hear a different frequency in each ear (or speaker), which is really the only way to tell who's where. I have no plans for a KX3 and have not read the manual, so I don't know how "dual watch" works in that radio.
