I've never seen a FT5000 for anywhere close to $4900, if you got yours for that let us know where and I'll buy one tomorrow to resell. The cheapest I've seen them sell for is $5300. And yes, as long as you run it in class A and don't turn on the processor, it has a relatively clean transmitter, but then it is a 75 watt radio, not 200.
