I now have taken the advice offered to use Spectrogram - why didn't I think of that? D'oh!!! I can now see the filter pass band and move the peak around using c20, but I can't get the pass band centre anywhere near 700 Hz, perhaps only 450-500Hz. This seems a bit low. Where should I look, or do I just have a recalcitrant crystal? I don't see any other variable which might interact with the BFO frequency.
