Good Evening,
It was a great week. Temperatures rose into the 70s most days
while the sun was only covered by clouds a few times. It feels so good
to be outside I have a hard time coming back to the keyboard. Summer is
finally here in Northern Oregon. No rain at all in over a week.
Propagation was good until a recent solar flare. When I turned my
radio on Thursday morning I heard a loud roar. Later I got an email
from my sked partner. Seems I had just missed the onset of the
ionization. But by that evening conditions were better. Today the
other shoe fell and the ionization is back. I expect conditions to be
much better by tomorrow when things settle down.
Please join us tomorrow afternoon and evening.
