Everyone, Just for your information. Because I was concerned about metal parts being attracted to the speaker through the chassis holes in the KX3, I applied a layer of silicon rubber to the inside of the metal case where the speaker mounted then mounted the grill cloth and spacer to the case. Waited until the silicon set up then mounted the speaker. Works good and sounds nice. Now I have both protection against metal fragments being sucked into the speaker and the rig sounds nice.
