If your floor is suitable, some double-sided tape on the underside of a foot switch insures it'll be there when you stomp it in the heat of a pile-up battle.
Actually, mine is stuck down with a folded-around my-hand loop of duct tape that's been flattened under the switch. As others have suggested, music instrument stores are a good place to look for one. 73!
