Hi Jacques & Gil, If I understand the situation correctly you had a separate receive antenna connected to the RX IN port on the KXV3A board. While transmitting you heard clicking sounds. Those sounds were probably the carrier operated relay (COR). The purpose of this relay is to protect the K3 receiver from strong signals coming in on the RX IN port. It sounds like the relay was not able to help and you might have some damage to the front end of the K3 receiver.
