If you want to see how this happens: Log into your LinkedIn account At the top right corner, click on "Add Connections" Read the fine print on the left blue box : See Who You Already Know on LinkedIn This is where LinkedIn pulls e-mail addresses from your address book....the default is "all addresses" selected. See "Learn More" for more information. Too many users don't read the fine print and accept the default.
