I picked up a set of folding amplified speakers designed for use with an iPod (or similar) at Walgreen Drug about a year ago. They sound great for their size, are powered by AAA batteries (or a 6 VDC wall wart - not included), and the cost was only about $10.
Those speakers provide a compact solution to clear stereo audio from my KX3, and are small enough to be used portable. My KX1 internal speaker is mono, and is only used in situations where other audio transducers (headphones or external amplified speakers) are not possible. 73, Don W3FPR On 9/2/2012 8:17 PM, [email protected] wrote: > I have had great luck with the small amplified speakers from Rad Shack or > E-Bay.
