Jim, I conclude that you do not operate much on 80 or 40 meters!
If your operation is mostly on 20 meters with only an occasional excursion to the other bands, then there is the possibility that you may not have noticed. Set the K2 to 40 meters and take a look at the BFO frequency for both USB and LSB. If my suspicions are correct, you will find them almost the same. If that is indeed the case, crank up Spectrogram and use a noise generator (or dead band noise) to show you the OP1 filter passband position, then lower the DAC value (or frequency) so the passband response is below the IF filter center rather than above. The BFO frequency will be in the vicinity of 4913 for LSB and 4916 for USB.
