Hi,
I'm going to be purchasing my first K2 in the near future and have read the
many threads about using "un-modules" in the construction process, but what
I need to know is what size, type and quantity of female headers I need to
purchase to mount on the main board. I have both Mouser Electronics and
Digikey catalogs on hand.
I realize that these headers are included with the option modules but my
thought was to purchase the basic rig first and get it working, then add the
modules later so I don't have bags of parts sittng on the bench in case I
get pulled away for a while.
I've seen this question posted before but not answered, so I apologize in
advance if I missed the reply.
I've been a ham for 41 years and I haven't been this excited about the hobby
since I got my first rig (at age 12). I'm really looking forward to
building a first class radio and have learned quite a bit from the nice
folks on this reflector.
