Hi all, We have about a dozen volunteers field-testing some improvements to the KXPD3. The upgrade includes:
- revised keyer paddle PC board that improves contact grounding - two new springs with roughly 50 and 75% of the tension of the original - stainless steel contact standoffs - stainless steel oval-head set screws The upgrade was based on a review of the modifications that we and several of our customers have made to the KXPD3. I believe this will eliminate all of the issues discussed, making the paddle easier to use and more adaptable to customer needs.
