Aloha Everyone,
Just finished building the KPA500 kit and it appears to be working (no smoke and HV voltage withing range). I have the Auxiliary cable connected to the AUX on my K3 and the key line interrupter since I'm using the Key Out to control the Telepost LP-100A wattmeter and a Pixel RF Pro 1-B Receive Antenna. The key triggers the wattmeter while disabling the Pixel for transmission to prevent damage to the front end. When the KPA500 is in STANDBY (STBY), I can hear stations on the air. When in OPERATION (OPER), it seems to mute or attenuate the signal where I can't hear the qsos. I went through the manual 3 times but found nothing. Did I miss or overlook something?
