Mike, Usually, I recommend a 6 amp power source for a transceiver that is rated for the range of 10 to 20 watts, your power supply will do fine at the 5 watt level. It even may do 10 watts with no problem, but I try to rate things conservatively. My politics may be liberal, but the electrons get a conservative consideration. Hey, it's an election year and I have not yet made up my mind :-)
