Something is broken. I get 500W out on 6M (the most difficult band) with modes like JT65, ISCAT, and FSK441 for 48 seconds on each transmission; typically the fan will crank higher after 35-40 seconds. On the lower bands I run it at 600W on JT65 and RTTY. I also had a beta unit for a RTTY contest weekend, with instructions to "run it with all the lights lit."
