Hi Dave, First you have to be really sure which antenna is being used on 10 meters. Lets say you are using your main antenna for the sub RX on all bands. Just one small errant button push could accidentally change the antenna selection on 10 meters only. This selection is saved on a per band basis so it will stay that way forever unless you correct it.
Other things are saved as well. For example you are probably using your preamp for 10 meters on the main RX. Press the bset button and verify that you are also using it for 10 meters. Generally it's a good idea to push the A/B button twice when using the sub RX. This forces all sorts of parameters to be identical to the main RX. If you are using your main antenna for both receivers and you accidentally engage diversity reception I'm pretty sure the K3 tells the sub RX to use the AUX antenna (since separate antennas are mandatory for diversity). Look at the upper display and make sure the second decimal point is not blinking. (The blinking decimal point is the only way we know we are in diversity). 73, Mike K2MK Dave Weiss wrote > Hi Gang: > > I think I am experiencing an issue with the sub receiver on my K3.
