Hi Ho All, KX3 kit s.n. 2000 arrived in VK1 yesterday and has been assembled, great assembly. Looks just excellent next to the Begali Sculpture Mono.
This is the rig I have dreamed about since being hooked on QRP by Doug DeMaw's "QRP Barbados Style", must be 40 years ago. My wife and I tour Australia's deserts and I hope to be on the air from camp sites across the Nullabor plains in a few weeks. Next year we hope to do the Gunbarrel Highway and Simson Desert and the KX3 will be along. Profound thanks to all Elecraft staff including those we dont get to know publicly.
