Been playing with the KX3 which arrived yesterday, it was well worth the wait. The RX is certainly VERY impressive, knocks spots of my TS-590S which was previously the best I had used. Will not be selling the Kenwood though. The biggest differences are RX noise and the filters. Not sure about the stereo effect audio, it takes some getting used to. There are one or two minor niggles but hey nothing is perfect and at the moment the KX3 is the closest to perfection of any rig I have used!
