Bob, There is more to the solution than "simple software"
Go over to the LP-Pan Yahoo group and you will find many answers to your request. You will need some hardware as well as software. An LP-Pan or Softrock receiver (with Clifton Labs Z10000 buffer amplifier) to provide the I and Q outputs.
