Hi, I have a functioning KX3 and a new MH3 microphone. I plugged in the mic and PTT wasn't actuated when I pushed the mic lever. No modulation either. I pulled the mic plug out one position and got audio if I pushed the transmit button on the rig. Puzzled. I checked the wiring and no loose wires on the mic jack on the inside.
