How many of you have bought a spare k2 and inventoried it than put it

see ya

It isn't necessary to inventory the parts as the value of the kit is for an "unassembled kit". Once you put it together the "extra value" vanishes so a missing resistor or two would never be noticed. I also noticed that the hunger for unassembled kits seems to be abating somewhat. An HW-9 unbuilt kit used to go for over $1000 now they are going for a few hundred. One should also consider inflation. Suppose you pay $600 for a K2 today and 5 years from now the unassembled kit is going for $1800? The rub is that inflation is such that $4 then will only buy what $1 does today. Great return on your money! Allen KA5N
