With CQ WW SSB approaching, perhaps you and others may be interested in using N1MM to control the K3DVR. Iain N6ML has written instructions for this on this page: http://www.dseven.org/ar/n1mm-kdvr3 This is extremely useful in contests and allows you to use the normal F-keys to send voice messages, just like on CW. I imagine with a little work that Iain's approach could be adapted other loggers besides N1MM.
