I have both but did not make A/B comparisons. K2's filters are not too sharp but they pick up weak signals very well. But may be overwhelmed by strong signals nearby. K2 has excellent AGC.
KX3 has much steeper filters and even APF. Also continuously adjusted. So probably KX3 would do much better with a mix of weak and strong signals. KX'3 AGC is not as good.
