Since the E team hasn't yet put a P10 or P6/10 out for Beta testing, and probably won't for some time, might I suggest an excellent alternative.
Advanced Receiver Research produces a whole series of pre-amps or LNAs from 0.1 MHz to over 900 MHz. If you are in need of a 10M one, they have a couple of choices that cover 28-30 MHz, with lower than you'll need noise figures. The one with the lower 15db gain is, <$50, and the higher 24dB gain one is <$ 80. To prevent minimum loss of the K3's dynamic range, you might want the one with the lower gain. Either one's size is about 1/2 of that of the P6, and they are well constructed. I believe that Ed, KL7UW , uses one of these for his 6M pre-amp, check his web site. You can order them directly from the manufacture.
