The freq stability is rated at 1ppm which is +/- 28-Hz on 10m or +/- 50-Hz on 6m. Since 6m is to be the IF for the 2m module that is not adequate for some digital modes (like JT65 used in eme). Often I select the 20-Hz bw on JT65 so if the radio drifts out of that signal decoding will be interupted.
Wayne has talked about a possible EXREF for the KX3 which I suppose would offer better stability locked to an external reference (like what was done for the K3?).
