E P. Yes, the KX3 is an SDR with knobs. The function and operation of the KX3 is defined by the software (firmware) - that fact makes it an SDR.
The TX and RX filters are set in the DSP section of the firmware to match the mode, so I really do not understand your question. Yes, the KX3 is not the radio defined in several computer applications that deal with SDRs. All SDRs are not identical. 73, Don W3FPR On 11/5/2012 2:32 PM, paim wrote: > i am looking on one youtube for kx3 [the guy said there it is sdr with knob > ok il over sdr ] > but why there is no info what the max tx filter ssb am cw and on rx what the > max on ssb am cw is > if it is like sdr this can go like 15khz tx rx . > > > vy 73 > E.P g0uut > ______________________________________________________________ > Elecraft mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:[email protected] > > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html > ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
