UNLESS you happen to be building a high power, multi-transmitter station for contesting The ultimate shielding of coax is limited by the RESISTANCE of the shield, and the uniformity of the shield, at the frequency of interest. Large diameter coax with a robust copper braid provides lower resistance, so if you're fighting for extra dB of crosstalk between bands and antennas, bigger coax can help. 73, Jim K9YC ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
