Howdy K3' people: Having read this "List" for almost a month, I'd sheepishly resigned myself to not bother to write something saying that I had a new K3 #6945.
Dunno what I was thinkin' when I thought that. Just fired it up having read the bare minimum of the manual parts pertaining to setup and start. (I'm impetuous after 50 years of this). Well, here I am, all "Collins Filters" stopped down on a great CW signal on 30m while I was listening to the 5mc version of WWV .. ALL AT THE SAME TIME, for goshsakes! It seems the band is dead .. but wait! ... I somehow had pushed "XFIL" because "FIL" looked like it meant Filters ... and then decided "Shift" && "Width" might have something interesting to add to "XFIL", and,"Yeah" = "What QRM" ... HI HI ... what will happen after I start reading the manual this morning?
