Exactly.  Obviously, anyone who suggests changing the list to moderated 
status has never been a moderator.
This only works if there are several moderators who have time to check 
the messages awaiting approval throughout the day.
On a list this active, if that doesn't happen, messages are delayed, and 
the value of the list diminishes to its members.
Then there are the complaints to be dealt with also, about messages not 
posting in a timely manner.

Eric has a business to run.  This is a hassle that he doesn't need.
