Tom, that are thousands and thousands of units out in the field. Nothing is perfect but the Elecraft line is damn near. There will be units that go bad. Electronics is never 100%. Never has never will. The real question is.... If a unit does go bad what will happen? The guys and gals at Elecraft will get it running in short order. They will. And you will be happy! You can bank on it! Yes, I did drink the Elecraft koolaid aid years ago.
